Filing Requirements
Domain Name Applications
1- French copy of the application form (signed and stamped) by the applicant
(submitted by mail)-One application per domain
(Do not fill in the Delegation information box "Déléguez la gestion du nom de domaine" on the application, unless the DNS is located in Algeria.)
So if DNS is not located in Algeria then please complete the following:
1- Kindly provide an IP Address of the web-server where you would like to point the domain name (this is located on the applciation form in the space which reads:
Adresse IP du serveur web : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (à faire remplir par l’hébergeur)
For example if the domain is abc.dz, please list abc.com or the site of your choice
2- Signed Power of Attorney
(Sealed with client's company stamp)
(Original required by mail)
3- Trademark Registration Certificate. (TM filing certificate can also be accepted)
Only Algerian trademark or Madrid designating Algeria are accepted). Or a Commercial Registration Certificate in Algeria provided that the domain matches the trade name.
Note: Since the NIC in Algeria can be very strict with processing the documents, you must send a scanned copy of the documents by email in order for our Algeria office to verify that the information is correct. Once you receive confirmation from our office, you may send them by mail.
Top-Level Domain:
.dz: for all institutions and organizations
Second-Level Domains:
.com.dz: for economic and commercial companies
.org.dz: for state related bodies or organizations
.net.dz: Internet Service Providers (ISPs) regulated in networks
.gov.dz: for governmental organizations
.edu.dz: for academic and scientific institutions
.ass.dz: for associations
.pol.dz: for political establishments
.art.dz: for culture and arts
