The IPO has announced an extension of all deadlines that were scheduled to expire beginning on September 23, 2024, until further notice, due to the current situation in Lebanon. All deadlines will be preserved during this period.

The IPO is currently operating partially and accepting patent and design applications, as well as new trademark applications with a priority claim, renewals, annuities, and all recordal applications. However, new trademark applications that do not hold a priority claim can only be submitted online. Examination will begin upon further notification from the office.
