Jordan Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply Presents AGIP with a Shield of Appreciation

AMMAN – The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply in Jordan honored Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the Invention Competition recently held by the Ministry.
In a special ceremony held under the patronage of HE Mr. Tarik Hammouri, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, and HE Mr. Bassam Talhouni, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research, HE the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply presented Mr. Charles Shaban, AGIP Executive Director, with the shield of appreciation.
The competition has been held to encourage schools students to step in the field of Intellectual Property and showcase their innovation and creativity.
Mr. Shaban highly commended this recognition and pointed out that "AGIP works in close coordination with government entities on supporting Intellectual Property community in Jordan. This recognition is a great award for us, and we will continue promoting awareness on the significance of IPR protection and encouraging the companies, institutions and individuals to provide more inventions as long as they are suitably rewarded and effectively protected."
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh innovated Talal Abu Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), the only major academic institution in the Arab world that specializes in innovation in the fields of business and Information Technology, and will graduate inventors and entrepreneurs. The College was established in 2018 as an independent college accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan.
