In cooperation with the Korean Patent Office UAE Ministry of Economy Highlights AGIP's Role in the Launch of new E-filing system

ABU-DHABI – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) received a thank you letter from the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Economy for its significant role and contribution in launching the new E-filing system as well as the internal patent examination center during the Korean Patent Office visit.
Being the leading IP firm in the UAE, AGIP experts have worked in close contribution with the Korean delegation to facilitate the transfer of IP knowledge and expertise to national cadres.
Mr. Amjad Al Husseini, Executive Director of AGIP Office in the UAE said: “AGIP is committed to assist and support governmental committees and officials charged in establishing framework, mechanism and procedures required for the development of patent system.”
According to Al Husseini, the new internal patent examination center and E-filings will speed up the process of patent grant and increase the volume of patent work in the UAE.
"We held several fruitful meetings with the Korean delegation based on an official request from the UAE Patent Office in which we explained the work procedures for patents in the country in addition to other future events," he added.
The new e-filing system for patent applications includes in addition to other characters a software for smart devices that will facilitate all issues related to patent in the UAE.
