26-Nov-2024 XI’AN - The 14th China Trademark Festival, organized by the China Trademark Association and hosted by the Shaanxi Brand Promotion Center, the China Enterprise Trademark Development Center, and the Shaanxi Trademark Association, was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on November 23, 2024.
The theme of this year's festival was "Serving Trademarks and Brand Building Projects, Cultivating Chinese Famous Trademarks and Brands." Key events included the "China Trademark Annual Conference" and the "China Brand and Trademark Expo." At the "China Trademark Annual Conference," over 20 specialized sessions were held, with more than 230 speakers from both China and abroad. The event attracted over 2,000 delegates from all over the world. High-level leaders, along with experts, scholars, industry elites, and business representatives, engaged in discussions covering the full spectrum of trademark registration, use, protection, management, and services. There was a particular focus on the protection of intellectual property in new business sectors, with extensive exchanges and cooperation aimed at promoting trademark and brand development and contributing to China's modernization efforts.
The "China Brand and Trademark Expo" featured an exhibition area of 16,000 square meters, divided into three main sections: commodity brand trademarks, service brand trademarks, and geographical indication product exhibitions. With over 550 booths, the expo attracted 600 outstanding companies, high-quality IP service organizations, and geographical indication product exhibitors from 31 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in China. Preliminary figures reported a total sales volume of 3.91 million RMB and a potential contract value of 84.77 million RMB. The expo provided a broad platform for business exchange and cooperation, enhancing the visibility and influence of the participating trademark brands and highlighting the critical role trademarks play in safeguarding innovation and driving the development of new productive forces.
