Yemen: Sana'a Trademark Office Adopts 12th Edition of the Nice Classification and Launches New Online Services

SANA'A - The Trademark Office in Sana'a announced on October 10, 2024 that it adopted the 12th Edition of the Nice Classification Version 2024.

Furthermore, the Trademark Office revealed the introduction of new trademark services on its online platform, including assignment, change in name and address, and oppositions. These new services have been added to the existing ones, such as filing new trademark applications and renewals. However, responding to Office Actions will still be done manually.

Additionally, the Trade Gazette with trademarks will now be available online, and the legal term for oppositions (90 days) will be automatically calculated from the date of electronic publication. Both the paper and pdf versions of the Trade Gazette will also be accessible.
