AGIP Honored by Jordan Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply
19-Jan-2021 AMMAN – In recognition of its continuous contribution and support to the Competition held on an annual basis by the Directorate of Industrial Property Protection, affiliate to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply in Jordan, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) was honored by the Ministry in a special ceremony held at the Ministry’s headquarters.
This year, the Industrial Design Award’s ceremony was held under the patronage of HE Ms. Maha Al-Ali, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Mr. Yousef Al-Shamali, General Secretary of Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and Mr. Nawwaf Al-Ajarmeh, General Secretary of Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education. HE the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply presented Mr. Charles Shaban, AGIP Executive Director, with the shield of appreciation.
The Ministry held the competition to promote innovation and creativity among schools students, and encourage them to showcase their creative skills and ideas.
AGIP Executive Director, Mr. Charles Shaban, who received the shield of appreciation on behalf of AGIP, said: “We are proud to be recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply. It demonstrates our commitment to work in cooperation with governmental organizations to raise awareness about the key role which intellectual property rights can play in driving innovation.”
