A subdomain is, as the name would suggest, an additional section of your main domain name. You create subdomains to help organize and navigate to different sections of your main website. Within your main domain, you can have as many subdomains as necessary to get to all of the different pages of your website.


Have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 63 characters in each label
Characters sets may contain letters (i.e., a-z), digits (i.e. 0-9), and hyphens (-) or a combination of these. 


Keep the domain name short and memorable, easy to pronounce and spell and keep it unique and brandable.


“Domain Name” means a string associated with Internet resources detailed in RFC 1034, 1035 and other relevant RFCs, including those which relate to the IDNA Protocol;

“URL” is an acronym for "Uniform Resource Locator", a string that describes the address of documents and other resources on the Internet. Defined by the IETF in RFC 2396, a URL is comprised of two parts separated by a colon (":"). The first part of the address indicates the protocol to be used, e.g., http, ftp, etc., and the second part specifies the IP Address or the Domain Name where the resource is located.


The selection of the domain name must meet the requirements of the Qatar Domain Name Registry policy.


ccTLD or country code Top Level Domain Name is for noncommercial domain can be used for personnel, example of use photography page , blogs ,trusted home business.
