A subdomain is a domain name feature that you can create under your domain name but can work independently of your primary domain name. It is defined structurally by a prefix to your main domain.
For instance, if your domain name is “mark.com.tr”, you could use “our.mark.com.tr” as a sub-domain name.


Standard Internet domain names support a very limited character set: they cannot contain any characters other than a-z, A-Z, 0-9, and '-'.


When choosing a domain name, a domain name that does not contain numbers and hyphens, is easy to write, and is short and memorable.

The main difference between a URL and a domain name is that a URL is a complete address to a particular web page on the Internet; the domain name is the subsection of the URL.


It is required for the domain name applicant to have a trademark application or registration in Turkey.
In  case  the  applicant  does  not  have  either  an  application  or  a  registration  in  Turkey, the below-mentioned documents may also be the base of a domain name application:

•Trademark registration in a foreign or home country,
•A copy of the distributorship/franchise agreement regarding the said mark in Turkey or a sample of invoices regarding the sales of goods/services related to the mark in Turkey in order to prove the use of the same.

In addition to the above, the Registry also requires Domain Name Server Name & Number.


A Country Code Domain Name allows you to target traffic from specific areas of the world.
