Requirements for filing a plant Variety in Jordan

1- Affidavit which must be duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate at your client's or inventor’s end. This form should be jointly signed by the inventor(s) and the patentee(s) (applicant) in case the later is not the inventor(s). If this is the case, the said form will serve also as a deed of assignment. (Attached is a proper form). 

2- A power of attorney duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate.

3- Certified copy or an original copy of the certificate of registration of the subject plant variety at the home country as well as the technical examination results duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate.

4- Description Card duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate.

5- Certified copy of the company’s commercial register, duly notarized and legalized up to the Jordanian Consulate.

6- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed.

7- Colored photocopies of the plant variety.

NOTE: All documents have to be sworn translated into English and Arabic languages.
