Filing Requirements
Trademark/Service MarkApplications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name ofthe applicant, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. Thecomplete applicant’s name and address should be indicated in this document.

2. A list of the items of goods/services to be covered by the application,which should be selected from the International NICE Classification (12thEdition-version 2023).

3. One high-quality representation of the trademark in JPEG format. 

4. A scanned colored copy/an electronic copy of the prioritydocument (for claiming priority within six months from the filing date of theforeign application) accompanied with a simple English translation (if issuedin a different language).

Collective and Quality Mark Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the name ofthe applicant, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization. Thecomplete applicant’s name and address should be indicated in this document.

2. A list of the items of goods/services to be covered by theapplication, which should be selected from the International NICEClassification (12th Edition-version 2023).

3. One high-quality representation of the trademark in JPEGformat. 

4. Two certified copies of the Articles of Association withApostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

5. Two certified copies of the system to be adopted by theapplicant in controlling or examining the products along with a statement onthe conditions and requirements to be available therein and the method of usingthe mark thereon, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.
  
Renewal Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in thename of the owner, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.The owner’s name and address should be indicated in this document in accordancewith the Trademark Registry.

2. A copy of the registration certificate of thetrademark (if not handled through our firm).

Assignment Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in thename of the assignee, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulatelegalization. The complete assignee’s name and new address should be indicatedin this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of Deed of Assignment executed bythe assignor, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of theassigned trademark(s), if not handled by our office.

Merger
 
1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney in the nameof the new owner’s name, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulatelegalization. The complete owner’s name and new address should be indicated inthis document.

2. A scanned colored copy of merger document, with Apostillecertification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of thetrademark(s), if not handled by our office.

License Applications

1. A scanned colored copy of Power of Attorney inthe name of the Licensee’s name, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulatelegalization. The complete Licensee’s name and new address should be indicatedin this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of License Agreement executed by both theLicensor and the Licensee, with Apostille certification/Saudi Consulatelegalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of the trademark(s), if nothandled by our office.

Change of Name Applications

1. A scanned colored copyof Power of Attorney in the name of the new owner’s name, with Apostillecertification/Saudi Consulate legalization. The complete owner’s name and newaddress should be indicated in this document.

2. A scanned colored copy of change of owner’s name document, withApostille certification/Saudi Consulate legalization.

3. A copy of the registration certificate(s) of the trademark(s), if nothandled by our office.

Change of Address Applications
