Saudi Arabia Increases Official Fees for E-Trademark Publication
25-Jan-2014 RIYADH - An increase on the official e-publication fees for all new trademark applications has been announced in Saudi Arabia on January 14, 2014.
The e-publication fees of new trademarks are SR 1500 (US$ 400) for local companies and SR 3000 (US$ 800) for foreign companies.
An objection has been raised by the local attorneys before the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry against the illogical increase of the e-publication charges and the difference of fees between local and foreign companies.
However, no official decision or response has been issued by the Ministry as yet.
