Bahrain Implements 5% VAT as from January 2020

MANAMA – Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) would like to draw the attention of its clients that as from January 1, 2020 a Value Added Tax (VAT) rate of 5% will be imposed on its services in Bahrain. Accordingly, AGIP invoices for all intellectual property matters in Bahrain to be issued will reflect the new VAT rate, effective the aforementioned date. 

In addition, all pending stages for the earlier instructed jobs which will be completed with issuance of related invoices on or after the above-mentioned date shall be included with the tax.
